Common Name: Valerian Root
Description: A homeopathic ingredient that favorably influences nervousness and anxiety, insomnia, general excitement and irritability.
Latin Name: Veratrum Album
Common Name: white hellebore
Description: Used for fainting or collapse when a person is pale, icy cold, sweaty or dehydrated. The fainting may have been due to violent vomiting, fright, or cramps, especially in pregnancy. Symptoms are better from lying down, and worse with movement (Lockie 148).
Latin Name: Viburnum Opulus
Common Name: High Cranberry
Description: A homeopathic ingredient for the symptomatic relief of menstrual discomfort, pain, cramps and associated bloating.
Latin Name: Vipera Berus
Common Name: viper, adder
Description: Used for swelling of the veins. Typically used when extremities give a sensation that they will burst due to inflammed veins. Symptoms are better when raising the affected extremity, and worse from pressure (Lockie 149).
